The Conway Promise

Goal #1: Improve Student Achievement

  • Increased instructional leadership through our District Leadership Team
  • Data-based goal-setting and school improvement planning at classroom, building and district levels.
  • Planning with data through the PLC Process
  • Quality instruction in every classroom through implementation of the Marzano teaching framework
  • District-wide support system for struggling students

Goal #2: Strong Community Partnerships

  • Strengthen leadership at all levels: Board, Administration, Staff and Community
  • Maintain positive relationships with the community through increased communication and outreach
  • Explore new and innovative ways to engage community
  • Engage parents in support of student achievement by increasing participation in the District/School Improvement Process

Goal #3: Effective and Efficient Resource Management and Operations

  • Maintain fund balance of 12%
  • Communicate clearly and effectively about finances
  • Maintain Facilities and Grounds

Goal #5: Climate and Culture.  Board is working on monitor data and gathering information to create goals in this area.

Goal #4: Communication

  • Maximize the use of various communication modes to engage parents and community
  • Maintain updated information and messages on the district website and other media tools
  • Create successful partnership with local high schools to support 9th Grade Transition
  • Seek input from high school students regarding the transition to high school
  • Engage in regular feedback cycles with parents/community through surveys and school events.
