Prohibition of Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying

How to file a discrimination complaint  Parents and public schools are encouraged to work together to resolve concerns or disagreements about a school’s program or a student’s education. However, depending on the topic of a complaint, formal complaint options are available under different state and federal laws.

How to file a complaint about a federal program . A citizen complaint is a written statement that alleges a violation of a federal rule, law or regulation or state regulation that applies to a federal program


The district will provide equal educational opportunity and treatment for all students in all aspects of the academic and activities program without discrimination based on race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, honorably-discharged veteran or military status, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability.
